We will be sending you the Pastoral Statement on the Year of Ecumenism, Interreligious Dialogue and Indigenous Peoples after the Permanent Council Meeting on November 27.

2020 Year of Ecumenism, Interreligious Dialogue & Indigenous Peoples
Programs of the Joint Commissions for ECEA, ECID & ECIP
OBJECTIVES:
1. To celebrate human fraternity by promoting the culture of dialogue as a path to peace.
2. To work for unity and harmony while respecting diversity.
3. To recognize Indigenous Peoples’ identities, spiritualities and ancestral domain.
ECEA PROPOSED ACTIVITIES:
On the eve of his suffering and death, Jesus prayed “that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I in you, may they also be one in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me” (Jn 17:21).
