“If you return, O Israel, declares the Lord, to me you should return.
If you remove your detestable things from my presence, and do not waver,
and if you swear, ‘As the Lord lives,’ in truth, in justice, and in righteousness,
then nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.”
Jeremiah 4:1-2
Dasal at Ayuno Para sa Katotothanan at Katarungan is a 10-day inter-faith expression of sacrifice to the Lord, as Catholics, Protestants, Evangelicals and Muslims cry out to God for the restoration of truth, justice and righteousness in our “Inang Bayan”.
Venue of this activity is in Padre Faura, near the entrance of the Supreme Court. This will be from May 1-10, 2018.
The activity seeks to highlight the Supreme Court’s utter disregard for the Constitution, and the serious threat this poses to judicial independence, as the court rushes to a decision on the Quo Warranto on May 11. It also intends to bring to light the serious consequences of granting the Quo Warranto, and the deep and far reaching impact of a compromised judicial system on the other major issues plaguing our motherland, our Inang Bayan today.
We also want to draw attention to the fact that many of the victims of injustice and the attack on truth are women.
10 Sectors/Issues: Impact of a Compromised Judiciary

A Call to Participate
Need for Core Fasters
We are still calling on men and women who have the courage to participate in this 10-day fast as “Core Fasters”. Core Fasters will stay in Padre Faura, and do a full fast for the whole 10-days.
We already have 1 Evangelical pastor and 4 volunteers from the Roman Catholics commit to this activity. We need nine (9) more volunteers to complete the team of 12 Core Fasters.
We’d like to request that you help us recruit volunteers for this challenging task.
Those who cannot do a full fast for 10 days may still participate. They may
- Do a full fast for 1 day, 3 days or 5 days
- Do a partial fast for as many days as they can do so, even up to the whole duration of the 10-day fast
Other Roles
Others may participate by performing specific roles, such as
- Marshalls, to protect the Core Fasters, especially during the night
- Communication team members, who will help in educating the general public about why we are doing the 10-day fast
- Participants during the prayer activities throughout the day
- Participants in the daily Forums
- Participants in the Inter-Faith Prayer, Procession and Candle-lighting activity at the end of each day
- Resource providers for the practical needs of the fasters, like water, sleeping cots, tents, etc.
Churches, Organizations as Sponsors for the Day
We would like to invite church congregations and Christian organizations to sponsor specific days. We need help in organizing the daily forums and inter-faith prayer activities. If your church/organization has a strong resonance with any of the issues to be tackled per day, it is welcome to come in and take charge of that day.
If anyone would wish to participate, they can get in touch with me at cmdino@gmail.com or 09990905890.
Please spread the word.
Please Join Us
We’ve reached a point in our history when the separation between darkness and light has become increasingly stark, and the line between good and evil needs to be clearly drawn. We all need to know where we stand.
We pray that you will join us in this fight.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” – Ephesians 6:12
