LAIKO ‘TO (July 24, 2024)
The National Eucharistic Revival in the USA is in full swing! More than 50,000 Catholics attended the Congress at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, and listened to inspiring Catholic speakers, went to Mass, confessed, has fellowship with one another, and adored Christ.
A truly inspiring sight to behold! Now, what does that have to do with us, in the Philippines?
We can take that lesson from the message of Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle at the closing Mass of the event. Cardinal Tagle, the Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery of Evangelization, and the representative of Pope Francis, empowered and encouraged everyone to GO ON MISSION!
To not just stay IN THE CHURCH, but to go out to the peripheries, and to the families. Be missionaries!
This message is not only for the USA Catholics, but for all Catholics around the world. So don’t be complacent, don’t be happy with what we have now, but go out there and spread the Gospel!
